At Vanilla Loft, healthy hair is deeply rooted within our benchmarks and maintaining the integrity of the hair is of the utmost importance to us. We would love to take a moment to explain more about why we are passionate about not performing color services without the use of the exclusive, in-salon Olaplex Professional treatment.

The first step (No. 1) is a bond multiplier that is expertly measured and added directly to the lightener during a color service. This crucial first step in the Olaplex treatment reinforces by linking the protein bonds within the hair strand together - preventing the chemicals in both bleach and hair color from compromising the integrity or breaking down the protein bonds in the hair. This additive mitigates and reduces damage during a color service.

The second step (No. 2) is a bond Perfector that is applied during the shampoo and rinse portion of a color service. SImilarly to No. 1, this treatment seeks out any remaining singular bonds in the hair and works to link them back together. Olaplex No. 2 is not a conditioning or moisturizing treatment and solely works to maintain the protein content of the hair.

This 2-step in-salon Olaplex Professional (No. 1 & No. 2) treatment is a very different formulation than the Olaplex At-Home line (No. 0, 3, 4, 4P, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9). The Olaplex At-Home line focuses on moisture and conditioning and, while it is certainly fantastic to use this line in conjunction to the in-salon treatment, it serves an entirely different purpose to the health of your hair.

PRE-WASH

Please arrive for your hair service with dry, manageable hair. For optimal results, kindly wash your hair 12-24 hours prior to your scheduled hair service. This ensures that there is no excess of build up and allows a clean canvas for your hair artist to work with.
